Philips PH1: Unisoc T310 chip, 4700 mAh battery and 13 MP movable camera for $78

Philips, a week after the announcement of the PH2 smartphone, showed another device from the line in China.

What do you see

The novelty was called Philips PH1 – an ultra-budget smartphone with a 6.51-inch screen. The panel has a large HD frame and a drop-like view with a 5-megapixel front camera. For the most part, it took two sensors at 13 MP 3 MP.

A novelty for the control of the eight-core processor Unisoc T310 in a pair of 4 GB of RAM and 32/64/128 GB of ROM. The device is also equipped with a 4700 mAh battery, a dual SIM slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, a USB-C port for charging and a headphone jack. There is no fingerprint scanner at the annex. For unlocking the smartphone, you get the Face Unlock function or a pin code. The gadget is important 194 grams and works under the control of the Android operating system.

AMD Radeon HD 7470M.

AMD Radeon HD 7470M (also known as ATI Mobility Radeon HD 7470) is a graphics card for entry to mid-range laptops. Based on the outdated 40nm Seymore-XT chip, so it’s just a renamed version of the Radeon HD 6490M graphics card. Referring to rumors, the video card may have DDR3 and GDDR5 memory but with a different clock speed. For our tests, we found a model with DDR3 memory and a clock speed of 667 MHz (Asus X54HR), so it is slower than the 6490M.

The 160 stream processors are still based on the "old" 5D architecture like the one used in the 5000 series. Therefore, it makes no sense to compare the number of shaders with 1D cores from Navidia GPU. Stream processors support the ability to be used with DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.1, DirectCompute 11 and OpenCL. With the latter two technologies, the cores can be used for general computing processes, such as video transcoding.

The performance of the higher clocked GDDR5 version is on par with the Mobility Radeon HD 550v and the GeForce GT 325M. From which it follows that the card is positioned as a low-level card and allows you to play modern games with low detail and low settings. Our tests showed that with a similar Radeon HD 6490M in a 15-inch MacBook Pro, playing Starcraft 2 or Mafia 2, fps (frames per second) only increased to 30 at medium detail at a resolution of 1024×768. Less demanding and older games like Trackmania played at high settings and in high detail. However, modern games like Dirt 3 will only run on low settings, and Battlefield 3 won’t run at all.

The new UVD3 video decoder supports MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, VC-1, MPEG-2, Flash, and now Multi-View Codec (MVC), MPEG-4 part 2 (DivX, xVid) HD video decoding.

In addition, the HD 7400M series has a built-in HD audio controller for delivering HD quality audio (TrueHD or DTS Master Audio) via HDMI and DisplayPort (eg for Blu-Ray video).

AMD HD3D technology provides support for Blu-ray 3D and 3D displays (built-in and external). However, this technology is not yet as advanced as Nvidia 3D Vision.

Thanks to Eyefinity technology, theoretically, the graphics chip can display an image on 4 monitors. However, this system will work if the laptop supports that many DisplayPort outputs.

The power consumption of the chip should be similar to the Mobility Radeon HD 5470, therefore the video card is aimed at small laptops with a screen diagonal of 13 or more

DJI Inspire 2 – Collision-Resistant Professional Quadcopter Review

When DJI released the first version of the Inspire drone, it immediately became very popular among fans of shooting from above. Before that, to use a drone and a good camera, you had to somehow connect them manually, and only DJI provided a ready-made version for $3,000 (171,100 rubles). I have a receiver on the review – DJI Inspire 2.

DJI Inspire 2 Quadcopter Reviews

It’s been a few years since progress has made 4K camera drones available for less than $500, so DJI isn’t going to fall behind the market, the company has introduced the Inspire 2, which I’ll take a closer look at in a moment.

DJI Inspire 2 quadcopter - Reviews

DJI Inspire 2 Features

DJI Inspire 2 has a number of features that follow from the name of the drone – it really has two elements.

2 batteries are used at once, which not only increases the flight time by protecting against battery failures, but also provides more power for auxiliary systems: cameras, stabilizers, sensors, processors.

DJI Inspire 2 Features

In addition to the removable and easily replaceable Zenmuse camera (in our case, the new X5s), there is a front-facing FPV camera that allows the pilot to monitor the situation in front of the drone without distracting from control.

The new DJI Inspire is equipped with two inertial motion sensors, two barometers and two processors for various subsystems. Even control can be carried out by two controllers. All these additions serve to increase stability and reliability when flying.

DJI Inspire 2 Features

Build quality and design

Outwardly, DJI Inspire 2 differs little from the original model – the propellers are the same shape, the same retractable landing gear, and about the same design. Several updates make Inspire more versatile and useful than its predecessor.

About a year ago, I switched to Keenetic, and "my skin became smooth and silky", that is, I forgot about all the problems that had arisen from time to time until that moment. But this is several times more expensive than the monitored solution, of course.

Good ears, but I’m still afraid that they might not hold well (I’m one of those "lucky ones" who have "non-standard" ears according to Apple)

I used Spynky pro, great headset, even smaller than the "buds", the sound is even more interesting if you like "bass". But these are devices of different levels, the spank pro just doesn’t have some of the bad features, so I don’t think they need to be compared.
